From one beach to another! We’ve left Florida Keys, and we’ve arrived in Miami – just 3 blocks from the beach 🙂
Our internet connection here is temperamental to say the least (we have to go outside just to connect) – so we might not be able to upload many photos over the next couple of days. We’ll have to see how it goes.
Anyway, on route to Miami, we stopped off at the Dolphin Research Center on Grassy Key (one of the islands in the Keys). It’s a non-profit dolphin organisation; with 24 dolphins, some birds and sea lions! The centre is used for both research and education. Really nice place with a great feel – and all the dolphins seemed very happy there 🙂
We wandered round the whole place, looking at all the dolphins in their separate sea pens – some of which seemed as interested in us as we were in them!! 😀 It wasn’t busy either – which made it even more enjoyable! It was fun just watching the dolphins interact with one another, and us too! 😀
It took around a 3 and a half hours drive from there to Miami, and we’ve now settled in to our little house at the end of our hosts garden! 🙂 The only downsides here are that the internet is frustrating, and it is very warm in here too!

We aren’t sure of our plans for tomorrow just yet – but we’re sure part of the day will be spent on the beach! 🙂
